Lucky’s Miraculous Escape

Late one rainy evening, we received a distress call about a puppy trapped in a drainpipe near Mall Road, Kanpur. The caller described faint cries coming from deep within the pipe, and it was clear the situation was dire. When our rescue team arrived, we could barely see the puppy, but his desperate whimpers guided us.

It was a delicate and lengthy operation. With the help of local residents, we carefully broke open part of the pipe and managed to pull out a tiny, mud-covered puppy, shivering from cold and fear. We named him Lucky, as his survival was nothing short of a miracle.

At the shelter, Lucky was cleaned, fed, and given a warm bed to rest in. Over the following weeks, he transformed into a playful and affectionate pup, full of life and mischief. A family visiting the shelter soon fell in love with him, and Lucky found his forever home. His story reminds us of the incredible resilience of animals and the impact of timely intervention.
