Dedicated to animal welfare, Privisha Foundation provides a lifeline for stray dogs in Kanpur by rescuing, treating, and rehoming them, while also educating the community on humane animal care.

Privisha Foundation, a compassionate non-profit based in Kanpur, UP, is committed to transforming the lives of animals in need. We support impactful animal protection initiatives and ensure that every donation is directed to where it matters most. Since our journey began, we have been a lifeline for stray and abandoned animals, providing medical care to those who are sick or injured. The Heart Behind Hope: The Story of founders

Vishal and Priya first met as classmates in high school. Priya was the compassionate one, always cared for animals and other humans. Vishal admired her kindness, though he was more focused on academics and extracurriculars at the time. Despite their different interests, they formed a strong bond, sharing ideas and dreams during their lunch breaks.

10 Years Ago: A Bond Is Formed

Priya showed Vishal a video of a injured dog she had rescued and nursed back to health. The dog's transformation was remarkable. “If only more people cared,” Priya sighed. Vishal, inspired by her dedication, replied, “What if we make them care? What if we start something together?

That conversation marked the beginning of their shared dream. They spent months planning and brainstorming, envisioning an organization that could provide treatment, shelter, and love to stray and abandoned animals.

2024: The Turning Point

May 2024: Privisha Foundation was Born

In May 2024, Priya and Vishal officially launched the Privisha Foundation, combining their names to symbolize their partnership.

The foundation’s mission was clear: to rescue, treat, and rehome animals in need while raising awareness about animal welfare. Priya became the heart of the organization, leading rescue operations and medical care. Vishal managed the logistics, fundraising, and outreach, ensuring they had the resources to grow.

Making an Impact

The foundation quickly gained momentum. One of our most memorable cases was rescuing a group of abandoned puppies left near a busy highway. That success story brought attention to our work and motivated us to expand our efforts.

In just 7 months, the Privisha Foundation had:

Rescued and treated over 500 animals.
Found loving homes for more than 200 dogs.
Distributed over 1,500 kilograms of food to stray animals.

Today, Vishal and Priya continue to lead the Privisha Foundation with the same passion that brought them together a decade ago. Priya's love for dogs remains the soul of the organization, while Vishal’s strategic thinking propels their vision forward. Together, they have built a team of dedicated volunteers, inspired countless people to care for animals, and created a lasting impact in their community.

Their journey is a testament to the power of friendship, compassion, and shared dreams. As they look to the future, Vishal and Priya are determined to expand their reach, saving more lives and inspiring more people to join their cause
